This building’s history is very elusive - the internet offers up no clues as to who designed it, when or who for. This doughnut-form building has one deco facade to Mundania Road and presents a more conventional elevation to Forest Hill Road. But the unexpected delight is the central courtyard. Flats are arranged off decks surrounding this verdant and very tight space - neighbourly respect is essential here. The gardening is just as lush outside the building as within. The building retains its original Crittall windows and is well looked after, if a little ragged.
