Some subtle brick variation and the large, spaced out lettering on the elevation just about lifts this 30s building from its stark simplicity. It is just up the road from Coleman Mansions and may be part of the then Borough of Islington’s housebuilding programme during the 1930s which was led by E C P Monson. Sadly, Coleman has been despoiled by uPVC windows.
