Highfield Court

1933

Architect: Amnon Vivian Pilichowski

PreviousNext
12345

One of the more obviously modernist and rectilinear developments constructed in ferro concrete. A brick ground floor supports a white concrete vertical board-marked upper pavilion with three stairs in an L shaped plan. Porter’s flat overlooks entrance. Unusual flat plans contain a ‘lounge hall’ i.e. an entrance hall which can serve as a dining area. Windows were originally pale green and the panel between windows terracotta.
